Hypnosis and Regression-Brings Healing, Enhances Your Creativity

Recent news about the travails of such brilliant, gifted, and blessed people like Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen reminded me of the sinking of SS Titanic. It was an iceberg that brought down what was considered an unsinkable ship. Our mind is like that, what you are conscious about is really just the tip of a bigger reality hidden underneath, in what we call the subconscious mind. I cannot imagine the stories and memories hidden underneath the façade and the persona of these actors, but these are strong and damaging enough to bring down movie careers and family life.

Yes, there is a way to make conscious what is unconscious, to be aware of those memories hidden underneath that continues to haunt our present. It is called a regression exercise using hypnotherapy.

Regression hypnosis is a form of hypnotherapy where you are led to bring to consciousness a memory in your past while you’re in hypnosis.

In the movie “The Kid” which starred Bruce Willis, the protagonist’s younger self materializes in his present house, and together “they” found a way of going back to a painful memory, reconciled with this past, and found the courage to reclaim a dream of being a pilot and having a happy, family life.

That is the best way to capture what regression hypnosis brings to us – healing and creativity. If only Lindsay and Charlie Sheen have watched this movie.

Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all life really means.

Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You’ll find what you need to furnish it – memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.
